From the experience of more than 60 years of the De Angelis family in the agro-food sector, Ammano was born in November 2019.
Ammano is the link that completes a supply chain made up of three basic steps: cultivation, breeding and processing.
The goal is to obtain genuine products of high quality.
Our pigs, of the black Caserta breed and crosses, are raised in the semi-wild state.
This type of breeding means that the animals can strengthen the physical structure, make herd and follow their instincts such as rooting and the possibility of letting off steam in large spaces.
The slow growth of the animals and the long seasoning allow us to obtain meats that stand out for their organoleptic properties.
We produce organic milk in limited quantities to ensure its high standard.
We transform milk into fresh and aged cheeses by hand, thus obtaining products with an authentic flavor.
The milk, as well as all the products derived from the cow, are excellent for their organoleptic properties and free from hormonal additions otherwise derived from the mass nourishment of the food industry, from which the Azienda Agricola Ammano keeps its distance.
Today we are a small production to guarantee the highest quality both to our animals and to the products.
Luigi, born in 91, with a degree in economics, represents the fourth generation of the De Angelis family, the family that manages the farm of 200 hectares in the countryside of Etruria, in Tragliatella not far from Lake Bracciano, which was bought more 65 years ago by the great-grandfather Sabatino.
Luigi had a dream, to transform all the fruits of his land into products of excellence, supported by his sister Maria Sole and by his parents Cristiana and Sabatino, he created Ammano.
