From today AlPassoFood is certified organic operator pursuant to EU Regulation 2018/848. This means that the organic products you find in our boxes and on our shelves are controlled, batch-tracked and verifiable — from an independent third party, not just our word.

What does “certified organic” mean to us?
Three concrete things, not slogans.
Controlled by a third party
We do not self-certify. Sidel Spa periodically checks our flows, supplier documents, and the consistency between what we receive and what we sell as organic.
Lot track
Each box of organic product has a lot and a related transport document. We know which certified producer it comes from, when it entered, and where it went. This is the heart of organic traceability.
Short and verifiable supply chain

Producer Selection
We only choose producers with valid organic certificationWe check their OdC code and certificate expiration date.
Entrance with document and lot
Each bio load enters with its own DDT and its supplier lot, register in our digital system upon arrival.
Trackable label on the box
We print on the cassette label the lot, the origin and the code of the control body, so the data always follows the product.
Tracked sales and mass balance
When we sell, the system deducts the correct lot. At the end of the period we know exactly how much organic has been received, sold and how much is the stock? — the data that the organization requests from us.

Is AlPassoFood really certified organic?
Yes. AlPassoFood is a certified organic operator pursuant to EU Regulation 2018/848. The inspection is carried out by Sidel Spa (code IT-BIO-012, operator code 10727). The certificate is public and available on the European Commission's TRACES portal.
What does it mean that organic products are “batch-traced”?
Each box of organic products has a batch number and associated transport document. We can always trace the certified producer of origin, the date of entry, and the destination, ensuring the traceability required by organic regulations.

Are all AlPassoFood products organic?
No: we carry both certified organic products and conventional products from small, select producers. Organic products are always clearly labeled and managed according to the certification rules.
