Le Quattro Volte's rosé with the soul of a red: 100% Magliocco, directly pressed, in cement vats, and months in the bottle—7000 bottles.
It smells of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub: a rosé that hasn't given up on red—it just lacks color.

Manca del Rosso is a rosé made from 100% Magliocco grapes grown on a vineyard cultivated on calcareous and clayey soils, processed by direct pressing, without any chemical treatment or manipulation. After a period of aging in concrete tanks and a few months of bottle ageing, it presents itself as what it is: a rosé with the soul of a red wine—the structure, depth, and character of the great Calabrian grape, dressed in pink. On the nose, it is scented with sea and Mediterranean herbs, with notes of small red fruits and citrus aromas that make it lively and pleasant: the serious rosé that never takes itself too seriously.
In Southern Italian peasant parlance, every hill has two souls: the "sulana," the sun-kissed slope, and the "manca," the cooler, shadier north-facing side—the names with which generations of farmers mapped their lands long before land registry maps. It's a geography of folk wisdom: knowing where to plant what, reading light and shade like a book. The name of this rosé plays on that legacy and with a smile: the "manca del rosso" is a wine that has everything of a red—the substance, the depth, the grape variety—and lacks only color. A peasant name for a wine that speaks the language of its land.
Visual examination: bright and luminous pink with cherry reflections, a sign of its red soul.
Olfactory examination: aromas of the sea and Mediterranean herbs, with notes of small red fruits and citrus hints.
Taste test: lively and juicy sip, with the structure and depth of a red, citrus freshness and a savory finish that recalls the sea on the nose.
Technical data: 100% Magliocco from calcareous and clayey soils; 13% alcohol by volume; direct pressing without chemical treatments or manipulation; aged in cement and several months in bottle; production of 7000 bottles.
Pairing suggestions: Fried seafood and grilled blue fish, first courses with seafood and fresh tomatoes, pizza and Mediterranean cuisine, light cured meats: its structure makes it a perfect all-meal wine for summer.
Founded in 2015 in the Crati Hills from the friendship between Daniela De Marco, Giampiero Ventura, the singer-songwriter Brunori Sas and Emilio Di Cianni, Le Quattro Volte creates natural wines from native Calabrian vines: spontaneous fermentations, no filtration and sulfur always below 30 mg/l.
Grape, SULPHITES.
