The Majnoni Guicciardini farm is located in Vico d'Elsa in Val d'Elsa, Tuscany, land of Chianti.
The Guicciardini family is one owner since 1871, since Francesco Guicciardini, a member of an important Florentine family and politician (he was also Sonnino's minister), bought it with the intention of uniting it with another of his farms, the Cusona, which stood on the other side of the valley.

Francesco Guicciardini had seven children and managed to acquire seven farms so as to give one to each of his children. The Vico Val D'Elsa farm is attributed in the early 900s to his daughter Marcella, who a few years later marries Massimiliano Majnoni d'Intignano, has made over the years
of its management many of the structures still used today, such as granaries and cellars.

Marcella and Massimiliano's children, Stefano and Francesco Majnoni d'Intignano, managed the company from 1965 to 1985, helping to form the basis of the current production structure. In 1985 Pietro, son of Francesco Majnoni d'Intignano, took over the management of the farm.

During his management significantly improves corporate sustainability, the company it is certified organic and the quality of the products is raised, to the benefit of economic stability.

Since 2019, Pietro has been joined in the management by his son Cesare, who completed his university studies in Italy and abroad, takes care of the cellar and marketing.

Since 2000 the company has been certified organic. The vineyards are cultivated in the traditional way without the use of chemical fertilizers or invasive machinery. The use of pesticides, although permitted in organic farming, is very limited.

They have been put into practice on some plots i principles of regenerative agriculture, with the intention of extending them to all other plots. Biodiversity has been fostered by building lakes (0,75 ha), planting woods (14 ha) and hedges (1,5 km) with local essences and introducing beekeeping (two beekeepers manage about thirty hives in three separate sites).

The company is a member of FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), which brings together producers who make wine and bottle exclusively grapes, must and wines from their own vineyards, guaranteeing the
maximum traceability from the vine to the bottle.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the CTPB (Tuscan Coordination of Organic Producers), born in 1983 as the first organic certification body in Tuscany and today it has become an association of producers recognized by the Region, whose intent is promote the Tuscan organic and biodynamic sector.

The company also adheres to the Chianti Organic District.
The vineyard is the beating heart of the company, IGT whites are produced (Spareto), from Chardonnay vines,
Malvasia, Trebbiano; rosé IGT (Rosato), from Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese, Trebbiano; red IGT (Tintero), from Dolcetto, Round Leaf, Ciliegiolo; Chianti DOCG (Chianti DOCG, Chianti Superiore DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG), from Sangiovese and Trebbiano.

All the wines of the Majnoni Guicciardini estate are excellent, the result of careful research and a skilful association of grapes and vines. They are all IGT and DOCG certified organic wines.
