This product will only be available for delivery after one week, the manufacturer will need to prepare the order one week in advance.

Considering that they are small farms, the product is never available in the days before delivery, it needs to be reserved specifically for your order.

How much does a rabbit weigh?

Weight depends on the season, if possible we will always try to fit a rabbit of 2kg or more.

Our rabbits weigh from 1,5kg to 2kg.

A smaller rabbit will have less fat and more delicate meat, while a larger rabbit will have more flavorful meat.

They are organically raised animals, coming from small farms with open-air farms with large spaces and certified organic feed, for the best animal welfare.

Low in calories, rabbit is one of the best meats for health.

With an important supply of proteins, vitamins and good lipids, the rabbit offers an interesting solution to diversify white meats. An idea to change the eternal chicken!

What does rabbit taste like?

In terms of taste, given its thinness (especially in the thigh!), Rabbit meat has a delicate flavor and a tender texture, like chicken. It is easy to cook and allows for a wide variety of recipes.

Recipe: Rabbit with Lemon

• Potato 500 gr
• Rabbit 900g
• lemons 3
• Olive oil 2 tablespoons
• Salt and pepper

Preparation of the recipe: rabbit with lemon

1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
2. Peel the potatoes, cook them for 5 minutes in a pot of boiling salted water. Cut them into large cubes and place them in an ovenproof dish.
3. Squeeze one of the lemons and cut the others into wedges.
4. In the saucepan, arrange the rabbit with the potatoes. Pour in the lemon juice and olive oil. Add the lemon wedges, salt and pepper. Cover the saucepan and put it in the oven.
5. After 15 minutes, remove the lid to finish cooking. Moisten it regularly with its gravy for about 30 minutes until the rabbit is tender.

Serve hot!

In the summer period, shipments are made only by refrigerated courier throughout Italy

In the winter period, shipments are made BOTH WITH "Patented Refrigerated Packaging" in 24/48H AND WITH "Refrigerated Courier". This service is only active in large Italian cities.

Deliveries in Rome and the Province are carried out only with our refrigerated vehicles

We work with small producers who, unlike large companies, do not always have the goods ready in stock. For this reason, some products require a reservation, giving producers the time they need to prepare them.

1. Preparation time: Each product has a specific lead time, which can vary from 3 to 14 days. This information is indicated in the product description.
2. “Reservation” label: Products that require reservation are marked with a blue label with the word “Reservation”.
3. Add to cart and pay: Add the product to the cart, complete the order and proceed to payment as usual.
4. Confirmation and delivery: You will receive a confirmation with the estimated preparation and delivery times after we receive your order. You will receive an email with the change of delivery date.
5. Shipping: The product will be delivered as soon as possible up to a maximum time specified in the description.

In short, booking guarantees you to receive fresh and high quality products, directly from our small producers. Otherwise we could not offer them and it would be a great shame.
