Comme Avant was born in 2017, with the birth of Nael.

Sophie and Nil were trying to improve their environment for the welfare of their family.

When red spots appeared on their newborn's hands and legs, no products, not even those certified organic, could alleviate their irritation.

It was then that they decided to start making their own soap.

After 4 years Comme Avant has grown and has become an atypical company but above all a human adventure that wants to participate on its own in the ecological transition.

It is very close to Marseille, in their artisan workshop, that zero-waste organic cosmetics and sustainable clothing are made.

A “less is better” philosophy to eliminate the superfluous and focus on the essential.

We produce transparently and without taboos, constantly improving our products, reducing our waste as much as possible.

But our ideas do not stop at our ecological products, it is our whole company that aspires to the same values for human well-being and for our environment. We seek to create a social, fair and just company by rewarding our partners and employees for the fair value of their work.

We also invest in non-profit philanthropic projects. Thanks to our Comme Avant fund, we are purchasing and rehabilitating land to protect biodiversity.

We remain a small family business, but we continue to grow by staying in line with our principles. We are independent and think green before profits. We feel free to think against the grain and differently for future generations.

At the beginning of our story, there were five of us manufacturing and marketing our products. Thanks to the trust of our customers and our community, the Comme Avant team has grown and now numbers more than 50 people.

Comme Avant is today an atypical company, a human adventure, terribly imperfect that contributes, in its scale, to the ecological transition. ?
