Comme Avant could be translated "Like once" and in fact the goal of this young family business French is to produce soaps as it was once done with simple and natural products without preservatives or chemicals, respectful of the skin and nature.
Comme Avant was born from the idea of Sophie, a young mother worried about the need to find natural and non-aggressive cleansing products for her newborn's skin, to create a product that was at the same time delicate and moisturizing and environmentally friendly.
After weeks of searching Sophie and her husband Nil they found a simple, basic formula
only of organic olive oil. Thus was born their first soap, still in production.
Today Comme Avant has a complete line of solid, simple, natural cosmetic products for the person
and effective, with a very short composition, without dyes or preservatives, certified Bio and Vegan e
household products, Ecocert certified, just as simple, effective and respectful of the environment.
Furthermore, a line of textile products has recently been added, woven with natural fibers (cotton and linen) not
treated.
Both the products cosmetics and for the home that the textile products are all produced in their workshop near Marseilles and as such have obtained the certification of "Origin France Guaranteed" products.
The company philosophy is “Produce less and better” to eliminate all that is superfluous and concentrate on the essential, to minimize waste, inspired by the same value: human well-being and the environment. This is present in the composition of the products, created according to simple formulas, but also in the minimalist packaging, made with recycled paper.
Comme Avant is not only a complete line of products for the person and for the home, but also a philosophy of life which inspired its creators but which has now conquered a whole community of people concerned about their own health and that of environment.
