A large, heart-shaped variety of tomato.
1) Appearance and characteristics: these tomatoes are characterized by their large size and shape suitable for being stuffed. Their skin is thick and soft, dark red in color and the pulp is juicy and tasty.
2) Use in the kitchen: thanks to their shape and size, they are perfect to be stuffed with various ingredients such as cheese, rice, meat or vegetables. Additionally, they can be used to make sauces or pasta sauces.
3) Health Benefits: Oxheart tomatoes are high in lycopene, an antioxidant that may help prevent cancer and heart disease. They are also a source of vitamins A and C, potassium and fiber.
Ideal in Caprese, with mozzarella Milk cream or Bufala, extra virgin olive oil, salt and basil.
