Obtained by slowly cooking grape must over direct heat for at least three days, this delicacy offers a concentration of flavour and sweetness, appreciated in both traditional and contemporary cuisine.

The use of Saba dates back to ancient Rome, where it was known as “Sapa” and used in the recipes of Apicius, a famous chef of the time.
