Tap Trap® was born in 2004 from an idea of ​​Roberto Carello to create and experiment with food baits for catching fruit flies and hornets without the use of pesticides and poisons.

Today professionals and hobbyists in Italy and in 20 countries around the world use Tap Trap® traps to defend fruit trees, vegetable gardens and gardens. Tap Trap® is the first food-grade trap with chromatic attraction, has professionalized the traditionally known method and used for the mass capture of flying insects through the recycling of plastic bottles, only that the technique has definitely been improved, the bait is more effective, the capture is more selective, the attraction has been enhanced.

These factors, together with the ease of use, have led to a recyclable and very long-lasting trap, so much so that today it is used to prevent infestations and reduce the reproduction rate of harmful insects.

Over time Roberto, meeting and listening to thousands of people, collecting their needs and identifying their problems in the care of the garden, the orchard, the vegetable garden, has designed and patented other ecological traps.

To Tap Trap®, with the use of plastic bottles, have been added:
– Trap® vase, the version of the biotrap which, by recycling the 1 kg jars of honey, also satisfies the need of those who want to place the trap instead of hanging it.

– Lima Trap®, a device capable of making even the vegetable garden organic for those who, exhausted by the invasion of snails and slugs, really can't help but use the granular snail killer. This small device avoids spreading the crop protection product on the ground and significantly reduces the quantity used.

Today Roberto's legacy has been taken up by wife Vanda Bellini and daughter Maura, who enthusiastically and professionally fight for the diffusion of these ecological traps which have now demonstrated their effectiveness over time.
