Arlette Rohmer, a great traveler and plant lover, after having traveled the whole world in search of the flavors and riches of tea, the most drunk drink in the world, in 1994 he founded the company Les Jardins de Gaia, with the intention of making known superior quality teas and other incredible plants from Asia, Africa and South America, produced exclusively with organic methods.

In the 1990s there was a limited variety of products available, so Arlette goes to tea-producing countries looking for producers who want to follow her in the his ambitious project.

At first it is in his kitchen that bag these unpublished teas and has them tasted in tearooms and organic markets. Then the great quality and finesse of its products are imposed and the company develops.

Arlette's passion for tea and her desire to offer customers high quality products in the respect for nature and man, have allowed her to establish direct relationships with producers. 

I small producers and small projects are privileged, with the intention of promoting agriculture on a human scale, which can multiply the choices and improve the quality of the teas produced harvest after harvest.

Today, Les Jardins de Gaia is recognized for its know-how, its commitment to the development of organic agriculture and its passion for tea.

All stages of production from the importation, transformation, aromatization and distribution of the teas is directly managed in the company.
