Constance and Joel
The Soulard company is a company family born in 1936 on the initiative of Ernest Soulard, who together with his wife Constance decided to expand the activity of their farm by starting the breeding of ducks and birds in general.
After the war, with the increase in demand for poultry meat, the company
thrives and grows. In 74, Ernest's children: Constance and Joël, who had started working in the company at the age of 20 as transporters, inherited the management of the company.
Joël decides to expand the business by focusing on international markets.
A new factory dedicated to export production is built, a team of experts is established for contract management in Europe and Asia.
In the 90s the company is proceeding with a broader integration project alongside the meat production feed (upstream) and foie gras (downstream), with the aim of controlling all stages of production from breeding to the marketing of meat and foie gras.
In the 2000 years the company is known for its production of high quality foie gras, appreciated by the best gourmets.
Today the Soulard company is a modern family business which adopts integrated production methods and which has been able to establish itself on international markets, but which remains faithful to the spirit of its founder in favoring 100% local production which reflects the expectations of consumers.
For more than 80 years, Soulard products have been synonymous with quality.
