Sansoni Organic Farm
The Sansoni farm is located in the Municipality of Nepi (VT), along the Via Cassia, on the border with the ancient Amerina road and in the territory of the ancient Gracchi thermal baths.
The company has been owned by the Sansoni family for several generations (GIUSEPPE SANSONI AND HIS WIFE OLIVIA in the photo).
They breed Charolaise and Limousine breed beef cows, as well as Sardinian sheep for the production of milk and IGP Roman lambs.
Saffron is also grown, which is sold under the ZAFNE (Zafferano di Nepi) brand.
The company is certified organic by CCPB.
The production is a closed production cycle: grass, fodder and cereals are produced for the animals, which are born on the farm and are raised outdoors, the animal droppings are used to fertilize the fields. The meats are processed in the company laboratory with certified organic ingredients. A photovoltaic system guarantees energy independence.
Great attention is paid to the welfare of the animals, which receive the necessary vaccinations and systematic preventive care, as well as homeopathic treatments and live free to graze on the farm's land. This guarantees excellent quality meat production.
An organic garden allows you to produce various seasonal products that are essentially sold through AlPassoFood.
