A food bait color trap, easy to prepare at home, by recycling i 1 kg honey pots.

Like the famous Tap Traps, also Vaso Trap is made of very resistant plastic material of an intense yellow color.

Respect the environment and safeguard the survival of pollinating insects, bees and bumblebees have no interest in food for the prepared baits.

It is a useful defense of orchards, gardens, vineyards, apiaries, green spaces in general.

It can be used in campsites, farmhouses, terraces, country houses, villas with gardens, boats, etc.

How VasoTrap® works

• The effectiveness of the chromotropic trap Vaso Trap lies in its yellow color, very attractive for insects in general, but above all for hornets and wasps that see this color from far away and mistake it for a fruit even when, at the beginning of spring, there is no still foliage on the plants.

• Since spring It is very important to use Vaso Trap: a preventive trapping allows you to attract and capture the queen mares of the first generations of insects and thus prevent the proliferation of the species.

• The 6 access holes at the entrance to the trap they greatly favor a greater concentration of the smell of the bait, thus making it more appetizing for the insects which, attracted, remain inexorably trapped.

• Flies, hornets and harmful insects they enter to look for the food they are attracted to, inevitably wet their wings in the liquid of the bait (see list of baits) and are trapped.

• The cover of the biotrap protects the bait from bad weather, avoiding its dilution when it rains and the consequent risk of loss of effectiveness.

Where does it go the ecological trap?

The Vaso Trap fly trap can be hung directly on an aerial support, well exposed to the sun, about 2 meters high, or placed on a shelf or on the ground, without the risk of overturning.

The honey pot has in fact a very stable plant and is suitable to satisfy the needs of those who have a balcony, a flower bed, a hedge, a veranda or flower pots.

Trap Components

Made up of two parts:

• a funnel, which is placed over the mouth of the glass jar to prevent the captured insects from escaping;
• a lid with six concentric mouths access for insects, which keeps the bait sheltered from rainwater, and which screws to the jar like the original cap.

Vaso Trap is also an excellent trap for snails and slugs.

Simply dig a hole in the ground and bury a 1 kg honey pot, taking care to leave the top out: fill it with half a can of beer (even of the poorest quality) and apply VasoTrap® Swithout The imbuto.

Bait Preparation

1. CALABRONI, WASPS, ASIAN CALABRON (Vespa velutina)

• 350 ml of beer + 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey;
  Or: 
• 200 ml of water + 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey + a glass of red wine vinegar
  Or: 
• 350 ml of sweet white wine or sweetened with sugar or honey + 20-30 ml of mint syrup;

2. FRUIT FLIES AND MEDITERRANEAN FLIES (cherry, olive, walnut, citrus, etc.)

• 350 ml of liquid ammonia (like cleaning use, not perfumed) + some scraps of raw fish (sardines, anchovies, etc.) as a protein bait.

3. FLIES AND MOSCONI

• 350 ml of water + some raw fish waste (20-30 gr of sardines, anchovies, etc.)

4.Eco-friendly snail trap
