Organic Saffron Pistils

 

An idea born from the will of two well-known companies in the Viterbo area: theSansoni Farm andScecchi Farm.

 

A project started in August 2017, born from a great friendship and above all from a very close-knit group of people.

 

The Sansoni Farm it's composed by Giuseppe, Olivia e Carolina, which deal exclusively with organic farming ed eco friendly in the nepesino area.

 

 

How to use saffron in pistils

  1. Add your pistils to a cup with a little very hot water. Also broth or milk.
  2. Leave to infuse for 50 minutes, you will see the water turn an intense yellow.
  3. Pour everything into the recipe, at the end of cooking so as not to cook the saffron.

The infusion can be stored 48 hours in the refrigerator

 

For a good risotto they are recommended 0,3 grams for 6-8 people.
