True excellence of the territory
Traditional natural agriculture, without the use of synthetic chemistry.
Terre Paduli legumes are healthy and rich in nutraceutical properties.
A few hectares and a lot of passion.
Gianni Casaluce cultivates legumes and ancient grains in Nardò in an organic regenerative way.
It begins with seeds given by friends, exchanged with guardian farmers or bought in the flea markets.
The meeting of people with different but similar stories in the path and in the objectives, I bring Gianni to a certain natural agricultural approach, with reference to the cardinal principles of Fukuoka
The black lands of alluvial origin in the area, muddy mixed lands, are ideal for legumes, first of all:

They are produced with a limited production, linked to a territory and its history.
They are included in a special list, from 1998, established by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies.
The recognition is given by the region to which they belong: today there are more than 5000 typical Italian products.
Typical Traditional Products they represent the Italy of villages and producers, who tell the ancient past of a place.
In fact, not surprisingly, it is easier find them at events such as festivals and village festivals, where there is a tendency to value e promote the territories.
The fruits of working the land to get recognition, in addition to being linked to the place and history, they must respect methods of realization, conservation, seasoning and creation.
The activities related to the typical product must have existed consolidated and protracted over time, according to the traditional rules and for a period not less than 25 years old.
Grown in a natural way, without the use of industrial synthesis chemistry.
The ancient varieties of Terre Paduli legumes and cereals are healthy and rich in nutritional properties.
The ancient black lands of alluvial origin in the countryside of Nardò guarantee the high cocability of the legumes.
Manual sowing in rows, not intensive, allows the full ripening of the grain which is harvested, strictly by hand, only when the plant has completed the vegetative cycle.
The conservation method is also natural, it excludes sulphites and any type of artificial preservative.

Very very good, a really nice little known product that deserves to be consumed
A difficult product to find, and this is one of the best I've eaten. I also recommend to those who like Ventotene cicerchia, but only for the more experienced
