100% natural — 80 g of fruit per 100 g of product
A banana that tastes like a green apple: the most unexpected surprise to spread on bread.

Dwarf Brazilian is a Brazilian banana variety with a very short stem. It produces particularly sweet fruit with a flavor vaguely reminiscent of green apple: a fresh and slightly tart note, unexpected in a banana, makes this jam unlike any other. The pairing with Sabrosa strawberries provides the perfect balance, adding aroma and a hint of acidity that lengthens the finish and prevents the sweetness from becoming cloying. Eighty grams of fruit per hundred grams of product and just three ingredients on the label: two fruits and sugar, nothing else.
The banana plant holds more than one surprise for those who encounter it for the first time: it's not a tree but a giant herb, the tallest in the world, and what appears to be a trunk is actually a pseudostem formed by tightly wrapped leaf sheaths. Dwarf varieties like the Dwarf Brazilian were bred specifically to contain this height: shorter plants are much better at resisting wind—the number one enemy of banana trees—are easier to harvest, and adapt to small spaces, which is why they're among the few plants that can be successfully grown outside of large tropical areas. Add to this the fact that each pseudostem bears fruit only once in its lifetime and is then replaced by suckers growing from the base, and you'll understand why the banana plant, despite being the most consumed fruit in the world, remains a plant full of exceptions.
Three ingredients, no preservatives, no coloring, no added flavorings, and no supporting pectin: the density comes solely from cooking and the banana pulp. With 80g of fruit per 100g of product, most of the sugars on the label are naturally present in the fruit. Bananas provide potassium and magnesium, minerals useful for muscle recovery and water balance, while strawberries contribute vitamin C and anthocyanins, the antioxidant pigments that determine its color. It's still a sweet treat, best enjoyed in moderation: but when you do, you're eating real fruit.
Brazilian Dwarf Banana 40%, Sabrosa Strawberry 40%, sugar.

Store the closed jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. After opening, refrigerate and consume within a few days, always scooping with a clean, dry teaspoon. Since the jam contains no preservatives, it should be treated with the same care as homemade jams. Small variations in color and consistency between jars are normal and are a testament to the use of real fruit.
