Pumpkin Cream Soup Biofables

Biofavole's Organic Pumpkin Cream Soup is a masterpiece of varietal selection: created from a masterful blend of three noble organic pumpkin varieties—the sweet, floury Mantovana, the dry, fragrant Violina, and the spicy, velvety Moscata di Provenza—each chosen to enhance a specific aspect of the final flavor profile. Pumpkin makes up 83% of the product, complemented by potatoes for creaminess, sweet onions, and fresh rosemary for aromatic notes. All ingredients are strictly organic, washed, trimmed, selected, and packaged by hand in the company's laboratory in Ortezzano di Fermo, nestled in the rolling hills of the Valdaso valley in the Marche region. The cream soup is sterilized in sterile containers to ensure long-lasting, safe preservation without the use of preservatives, and its extremely limited salt content (0,4 g per 100 g) makes it suitable for children under 3 and those with hypertension.

The roots of this Pumpkin Cream Soup are deep in tradition

Pumpkin is the gift the Americas gave to Europe: arriving on our tables after the discovery of the New World, it was enthusiastically adopted by the cuisine of the Po Valley and Mantua as early as the 16th century, where the Gonzaga family transformed it into the famous pumpkin tortelli of the ducal court, still a flagship dish of Mantua gastronomy today. The Violina, on the other hand, is a typical variety of northern Italy, with an elongated neck and fragrant flesh, while the Moscata di Provenza—cultivated since the 19th century in the Rhone Valley—is the undisputed queen of French cream soups and Provençal soups au potiron. In the Marche countryside, pumpkin has always been the "treasure of the autumn garden": grandmothers would slowly cook it with potatoes and onions to create thick, nutritious soups, a comfort on cold evenings and a hearty meal for field workers. Biofavole inherits this traditional wisdom, combining it with the wisdom of varietal selection.

Choosing Pumpkin Cream Soup means taking care of yourself

Pumpkin Cream Soup is a true concentration of autumnal well-being. Pumpkin is incredibly rich in beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, a valuable ally for healthy eyesight, skin, and the immune system. It also provides vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, and plant-based iron, essential minerals for cardiovascular health and hydration. The fiber it contains (1,7 g per 100 g) promotes intestinal transit and contributes to a feeling of satiety. Potatoes add potassium and slow-release starch, while rosemary provides rosmarinic acid, a polyphenol with documented anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. With only 55 kcal per 100 g, almost no sugar (0,2 g), and a very low salt content, it is hypoallergenic and gluten-free, perfect for infants being weaned, the elderly, athletes, vegetarians, and anyone who wants a hot, healthy, micronutrient-rich meal in seconds.
