Gunpowder is the best known and most easily recognizable Chinese green tea thanks to its characteristic processing in the form of small balls.

The origin of the name (in Italian "gunpowder") is not clear, it is thought that it is related to the fact that, like a real gunpowder, the crumpled form "explodes" into an elongated leaf surrounded by a slightly smoky when infused.

GREEN TEA has many properties:

• helps the body to defend itself from free radicals (reactive molecules involved in cell damage), exerting an antioxidant action and preventing aging;
• it helps to reduce the levels of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, thus exerting a protective action against cardiovascular diseases;
