Les Jardins de Gaïa Organic Jasmine Green Tea

Les Jardins de Gaïa's Organic Jasmine Green Tea is an invitation to relaxation: the renowned Chinese Moli Hua Cha, traditionally scented with fresh jasmine flowers, the queen of flowers and symbol of love. Its incomparably velvety flavor envelops the palate with delicate floral fragrances, making it the perfect companion for Asian dishes and moments of tranquility. Its preparation is as gentle as its character: 2 grams per 25 cl of water at just 75°C, steeping for 3 minutes. Certified organic and fair trade, it is a timeless Chinese tea classic.

The roots of this Jasmine Green Tea are deep in tradition

The original scented tea is produced in producing countries using traditional processing techniques: in the case of jasmine, the freshly picked flowers are expertly placed in contact with the tea leaves, which slowly absorb their fragrance, and then removed once their gift is complete. No added flavoring: just patience and real petals. The leaves for this selection come from the Dazhangshan association of small producers in the Wuyuan region of China: a picturesque landscape of rolling hills dotted with tea terraces, a subtropical climate with cold winters, hot summers, and abundant rainfall, where the red clay soils and the Xinjiang and Qinghua rivers nourish agricultural lands and a biodiversity rich in rare endemic species, carefully protected by local authorities.

Choosing Jasmine Green Tea means taking care of yourself

In Chinese culture, jasmine tea has been a symbol of hospitality and serenity for centuries: its floral scent naturally invites you to slow down, while green tea offers its rich polyphenol content and a moderate theine content, made even gentler by the low brewing temperature. Each cup contains negligible amounts of calories, sugar, fat, and salt: a worry-free daily pleasure. Choosing it also means supporting an extraordinary story: in 2001, Dazhangshan was the first Fairtrade-certified tea cooperative in China, and the Fairtrade Premium has significantly improved the quality of life of the community, which invests the funds in their children's education, a tea school, and regular health, safety, and certification training.
