These tissues are made from 100% FSC®-certified bamboo cellulose, naturally hypoallergenic and free from added chemicals: a 3-ply softness designed for the most delicate skin on the body, the face and nose, put to the test on cold days. Each cardboard box contains 65 tissues—and the 12-box pack contains a whopping 780 tissues—with a detail that makes all the difference: the packaging is completely plastic-free, from the box to the last tissue. No cellophane window, no unnecessary wrapping: just recyclable cardboard and bamboo fiber, for a daily gesture that is finally clean in every sense.
 
 
 

The roots of these handkerchiefs are deep in tradition

The handkerchief has spanned the centuries as an object of elegance rather than necessity: in the Italian Renaissance, it was a precious accessory, embroidered and scented, exchanged by ladies and gentlemen as a token of love—so central to court life that Shakespeare made it the dramatic fulcrum of Othello. The paper handkerchief, however, was born almost by chance in 1924: Kimberly-Clark was looking for a use for cellucotton, the cellulose wadding developed during the Great War for gas mask filters, and transformed it into disposable tissues—first for removing makeup, then, listening to customers, for blowing noses. BùCool® handkerchiefs add a missing chapter to this story: the same softness, but from a giant grass that grows back on its own, rather than from felled forests.
