Our sweet and sour fennel puntarelle are a perfect combination of flavors and textures, evoking the Mediterranean culinary tradition.

Crispy fennel, spicy chili pepper, aromatic garlic and fresh parsley meet in an irresistible sweet and sour balance, thanks to wine vinegar and sugar.

Sweet and sour fennel puntarelle are a versatile side dish, ideal to accompany:

• Meat dishes: roasts, grills, stews.
• Fish dishes: swordfish, salmon, tuna.
• Cheeses: pecorino, salted ricotta.
• Appetizers: crostini, bruschetta, crudités.
• Also excellent as an ingredient to enrich mixed salads, or to stuff sandwiches and piadinas.

Chef's tips:

To enhance the flavor of puntarelle, we recommend serving them at room temperature or slightly cold.

They can be enriched with a drizzle of raw extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of black pepper.
