IGT Umbria rosé wine from organic farming, practical Bag in Box format, 12% vol.
The cherry color of Umbria in a fresh and versatile sip, perfect for any convivial moment

Podere Marella's Marellino Rosato IGT Umbria Biologico is a fresh, pleasant, and easy-drinking wine, produced in the green heart of Umbria from grapes grown using certified organic methods. The pale pink color with cherry highlights introduces an aromatic bouquet of fresh red berries—wild strawberry, cherry, pomegranate—accompanied by delicate floral notes and a mineral undertone typical of Umbrian soils. On the palate, it is harmonious, with a pleasant freshness, a supple structure, and a clean, savory finish. The practical Bag-in-Box format preserves the wine's quality for weeks after opening, thanks to the extraction system that prevents contact with oxygen: ideal for everyday consumption and social occasions.
Umbria boasts a millennia-old winemaking tradition rooted in the Etruscan civilization and consolidated by the Romans, for whom Umbrian wine was synonymous with quality and prestige. The Umbrian hills, with their temperate climate, rich clay-limestone soils, and the temperature range that characterizes the inland vineyards, offer ideal conditions for growing native red grapes such as Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Merlot, often used in local rosé cuvées. The tradition of Umbrian "table wine," simple and everyday, reflects the concept of family conviviality that has always characterized the region: a wine that expresses the territory without pretension, perfect for accompanying the traditional cuisine of Central Italy.
Choosing an organic wine is a conscious decision for your health and the environment: organic grape cultivation excludes the use of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers, limiting chemical residues in the glass and protecting the vineyard's biodiversity. Rosé wines, produced with a brief maceration of the skins, have a more balanced polyphenolic profile than full-bodied reds, with moderate amounts of resveratrol and anthocyanins. The Bag-in-Box format also reduces the environmental impact compared to the bottle: less glass is used, more efficient transportation, and the wine can last up to 4-6 weeks once opened, without waste. A modern and responsible way to enjoy the pleasure of wine every day.
Podere Marella is an Umbrian winery dedicated to organic production in the Colli del Trasimeno area. A short supply chain, respect for the local area, and the use of native grapes characterize a range of wines with a strong identity, designed to showcase the authentic, everyday winemaking tradition of Umbria.
