Borgo Faveri Bianco, Demeter certified, is made from white grapes grown according to biodynamic principles, a philosophy grounded in the harmony between earthly and cosmic forces and guiding human activity in preserving biodiversity. The vines, between 20 and 40 years old, are rooted in the deep, clayey soils of central Italy, trained using trellises and harvested exclusively by hand. The result is a delicate, rounded, and enveloping wine, medium-bodied, where the vine and its grapes express their strength in perfect natural balance: a clean, everyday white, as authentic as the land from which it comes.
 
 
 

The roots of this white wine are deep in tradition

If biodynamics has a father, it also has a mother: Maria Thun, the German researcher who, starting in the 1950s, dedicated decades of field experiments to codifying the famous sowing calendar, observing how lunar and planetary rhythms influenced plant growth. It is thanks to her work that today's biodynamic winemakers choose "fruit" days for the harvest and "root" days for soil work. The manual harvest at Borgo Faveri Bianco is part of this tradition of patiently listening to nature: hands that select bunch by bunch, following the rhythms not of the machine but of heaven and earth, as was done before the industry rewrote the rules of wine.
