The Navel orange is harvested in Italy between October and March,
they are very juicy, seedless, have a blond pulp and a sweet taste.
It is recognized by its "navel" in the lower part

La Navel, more commonly known as Navelina, is recognized as a sweet type.
The place of production is sunny and close to the sea, which favors the anticipation of production.
A variety of orange that has a typical twin fruit (called navel) inside the peel, located at the opposite pole with respect to the petiole
Of South American origin, the first umbilicated orange would have been "born" in a Brazilian monastery starting from a single mutation that produced the new twin orange (with much less room to grow though).
This is why the Navel varieties externally show a sort of conchetta on the skin that resembles a navel.
Today we find it especially in Calabria and Sicily
Pleasant flavor orange.
It is highly regarded for the delicacy of the pulp and the sweetness of the juice.
It is intended both for consumption in wedges and for excellent juices.
