Rinelli Vigneti's mountain rosé: twenty-four hours on the skins to capture the gentle soul of Cesanese.
Salmon pink with powdery highlights, scents of rose and strawberry: the elegant lightness that only the mountains can offer.

The secret of Rinelli Vigneti's 24h is in its name: exactly twenty-four hours of maceration on the skins, the time it takes for the Cesanese di Affile to release its salmon-pink color and delicate aromas into the must. The grapes grow on predominantly clayey soils with a good percentage of limestone, rich in minerals, from Guyot-trained and cordon-trained vines on the heroic viticultural slopes of Affile. The harvest is manual, from late September to the first ten days of October. After a brief maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and cold-decanted, followed by alcoholic fermentation and aging in stainless steel, without filtration or fining: absolute purity, from bunch to glass.
Rosé is the oldest wine there is: before modern techniques clearly separated whites from reds, most historical wines were made precisely this way, from brief contact between must and skins. Italy has made it a tradition with its Chiaretti and Cerasuolo, the "one-night" wines that farmers produced clear and fragrant. Dedicating a noble and demanding grape variety like Cesanese di Affile to rosé is both a courageous and modern choice: it means giving up a great red for something rarer—a mountain rosé with the character of a champion and the grace of a flower.
Visual examination: salmon pink with powdery reflections, delicate and luminous.
Olfactory examination: hints of white and pink flowers, with fruity notes of strawberry and plum.
Taste test: Freshness and fruitiness combined with a pleasant acidity, with a lively palate. Balance, lightness, and elegance.
Match with: perfect with cured meats and cheeses, even mature ones, with fish appetizers and traditional first courses.
In Affile, at 684 meters in the Simbruini Mountains, Rinelli Vigneti has brought abandoned mountain vineyards back to life: heroic viticulture recognized by the Lazio Region, manual labor, and regenerative practices for wines with an authentic territorial identity.
